1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using SnoreWatch ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any changes.
2. Description of Service
SnoreWatch is a sleep monitoring application that uses your device's microphone to detect and record snoring events during sleep. The App provides:
- On-device audio recording and snore detection
- Sleep quality analysis and reports
- Sleep diary for tracking habits
- Ambient sleep sounds
- Smart alarm functionality
3. Medical Disclaimer
SnoreWatch is not a medical device and is intended for informational and entertainment purposes only. The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Snoring data and sleep analysis provided by the App should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice.
If you suspect you have a sleep disorder such as sleep apnea, please consult a qualified healthcare professional. Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking treatment based on information provided by the App.
4. Subscription Terms
SnoreWatch offers optional premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase:
- Monthly Plan: $4.99/month, billed monthly
- Yearly Plan: $29.99/year, billed annually
- Lifetime Plan: $49.99, one-time purchase
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your Account Settings in the App Store after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
5. User Conduct
You agree to use the App only for its intended purpose. You shall not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on the App
- Use the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App
- Distribute, sublicense, or transfer the App to third parties
6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, audio files, and software — are the exclusive property of SnoreWatch and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
7. Data and Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. All audio recordings and sleep data are processed and stored locally on your device. We do not collect, upload, or share your personal data. For full details, please review our Privacy Policy.
You are solely responsible for backing up your data. Deleting the App or using the in-app "Delete All Data" feature will permanently remove all locally stored data.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy of snore detection or sleep analysis results.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SnoreWatch and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Use or is harmful to other users or the App. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease.
11. Governing Law
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.
